I am looking for an experienced Automation and Control Engineer for a small but well-defined BATCH production project involving five tanks and sequential process control (mixing, heating/cooling, material feeding, and operator confirmations).

The system is based on Siemens PLC with an HMI solution.

System Overview:
PLC: Siemens S7-1500
HMI: WinCC or an alternative HMI solution (open to engineer’s recommendation)
Operator workstation in a control room
Touch screen panel PC on the production floor
Recipe-based batch operation with manual confirmations

Scope of Work / Deliverables:
Completion of system configuration
PLC programming
HMI development
Remote participation in I/O tests
Remote participation in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests)

Additional Requirements:
Development of an SP screen connected to an SQL database
Allows changing times and quantities
Saving configurations as recipes
Each executed recipe must generate a running batch number
Ability to review historical recipes and batches
The SQL-based screen can be implemented either as part of the main HMI or using an alternative HMI/interface if more convenient for the engineer

Functional Requirements:
Recipe management (creation, editing, execution)
Batch sequencing and step control
Manual confirmations integrated into the process
Temperature and mixing control per recipe stage
Clear operator interface for monitoring and control

Required Experience:
Strong experience with TIA Portal
Experience with batch or process control systems
Experience with industrial or chemical processes
Experience with SQL integration and recipe/batch history systems

P&ID
Electrical drawings (with ABB, which will be changed to Siemens)
